We have the green light to sell our fresh Hook salmon during lockdown. Your salmon is currently swimming in the crystal clear lakes of Hook Wanaka. Just say the word and your fish will be caught to order and delivered to your door!
While this is currently only available to Wanaka, Hawea and Luggate our area coverage will expand, as will the products we offer. So make sure to sign up to our mailing list and follow our social media for updates.
We’ve all been missing those lovely afternoons with friends at Hook, so we’re really excited to be able to bring our fresh salmon to you to enjoy while we wait out the lockdown.

Here’s an idea of what are we doing behind the scenes to keep to the rules and stay safe:
— All of our fishing equipment, preparation areas and equipment, door handles etc have been sanitised. Also, nothing has been touched by anyone other than our fishing guide and owner since we closed 2 weeks ago. Hook is clean as a bean.
— We already follow a strict Food Control Plan with tight rules on cleaning, sanitising and washing hands. Hands are washed before catching, after catching, before prepping, after prepping, before packaging, after packaging, before delivery…you get the idea. There is a LOT of hand washing involved.
— We are a small, family-run operation and will work with you to ensure we your salmon delivery is put in the right place, at the right time – not just inline with the rules of the lockdown, but sticking to any rules you’ve got within your bubble. We want to you to feel safe. We want to feel safe. We want happy bubbles.
